Context

Total aimed to train technicians on the maintenance of fuel tanks, a procedure that is rarely practiced in real conditions due to its hazardous nature.

The goal was to simulate equipment in 3D, allowing technicians to practice in a safe and immersive environment without the risks associated with on-site operations.

Solution

Conseil 3D developed Total HoloPro Training, an application enabling technicians to recreate a gas station in holograms directly from their office or a training room.

Technicians can:

Train step-by-step on safety equipment replacement procedures.
Use a lightweight and intuitive mixed reality headset, which trainers can easily transport for group sessions.
Share the live video feed via a projector for collaborative learning.
