Saint-Gobain, world leader in high performance materials for construction, wanted to valorize its innovations In acoustic insulation for aeronautics.

The goal is to offer an immersive experience faithfully reproducing the soundscapes of an airport and an airplane cabin. Saint-Gobain partners can thus test the effectiveness of solutions during trade shows or customer presentations.

The solution will be inaugurated during the 2025 Paris Air Show.

Solution

Conseil 3D has developed a multiplatform application for PC, tablet and Meta Quest headset. From the tablet, the guide controls the visit, which is projected in the VR headsets or on the stand screen.‍

Key points of the realization:

Synchronization with the sound card of the stand for high-fidelity sound rendering,
Network connection between the VR headsets, the tablet and the integrated screen,
System of points of interest triggered by sight for smooth navigation,
3D modeling of the inside of materials
Schematic animations of Saint-Gobain material optimization software.
